UNLEASH!

PERFORMANCE BY NEW DANCE GRADUATES ASWARA (Penilaian Tahun Akhir) 2009 is comprised of two nights LIVING TRADITIONS and NEW DIRECTIONS. UNLEASH! is going to allow you to get up close and personal with 22 YOUNG DANCE GRADUATES who have completed 3 years of training – shed their blood, sweat and tears. They have finally arrived at the BEGINNING of the next chapter of their lives – professionals! This performance event aims to UNLEASH! and welcome them to the industry (and maybe even the world!).

DATE: 4 JUNE 2008 (Thurs) – Living Traditions (traditional dance repertoire including Tari Inai. Bharata Natyam, Terinai, Ayak-ayak, Ngajat Iban and others)

DATE: 5 JUNE 2008 (Friday) – New Directions (contemporary dance choreography by Shafirul Azmi & Umesh Shetty, new work by Raymond Liew, Fione Chia and Hafiz Untong).

VENUE: EXPERIMENTAL THEATRE, ASWARA CAMPUS, 464, JALAN TUN ISMAIL, 50480 KUALA LUMPUR

TIME: 8.30 P.M.

TICKETS: FREE ENTRANCE

We invite producers, directors, impresarios and enthusiasts to attend the performances to identify new talent for their up-coming productions and events.

Pda 16 mei lalu, mamadz dan rakan2 telah terlibat mewakili Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur ke Festival Tari Malaysia Peringkat Zon Tengah di Ipoh, Perak. Pertandingan ini diadakan untuk menentukan kumpulan mane (Selangor, Perak @ KL) yang akan ke peringkat kebangsaan pada bulan Julai nanti. Keputusan belum ketahu lagi. Keputusan akan dikeluarkan selepas semua zon tamat.. so kene la tggu... sepanjang kt Ipoh kiteorg rase best gile... masing2 enjoy.. xpkir pon pasl pertandingan....

perjalanan kiteorg start hari jumaat lagi.. hari jumaat tue kiteorg bertolak ke Ipoh.. disebabakan terlalu penat.. semua org tdo dalm bas.. kecuali abg faizal (org yg amek gmbr kiteorg semua tgh tdo) hahaha..

ini muke2 seblum tido!!!

smpi2 je Ipoh kiteorg p makn dulu lepas p mkn, kiteorg check in hotel kt FAIR PARK HOTEL... jauh jugak la dari taman budaya perak tue... lepas check-in brulah kiteorg p taman budaya untuk taklimat... pd malm hari jumaat tue kiteorg pun traning kt studio taman budaya sampai kol 11. lepas tue balik hotel tdo la... hahahaha

hari SABTU 16 MEI... kena bangun awal.. cz kena p taman budaya pektis lagi cz banyak yg perlu diperbaiki.. pergerakan, muzik, masa(timing)...huhuhu.... kiteorg ade kt taman budaya tue dari kol 10 pgi smpi waktu persembahn... penat gile...

dlam kol 4, ocha dh start makeup penari2.. 2-3 jam jugak la sesi bermakeup2 tue... then kiteorg gerak p bilik kt back stage untuk tukar baju pulak... sepanjang show, group laen xleh tgk group lean perform... xtahu la kenape... itu syarat2 yang ditetap oleh pihak penganjur, so ikut je la...

ALHAMDUILLAH... semua berjalan dengan lancar... setelah habes je.. kiteorg bersiap2 utuk balik.. tp kak ili (pengurus kump.) dh cakap ngn driver bas suruh bawak kiteorg p GERBANG MALAM... tp agak megecewakan.. suasana hujan renyai2.. so nk tgk barang pon xde mood.. p kedai mkn.. beli bungkus then terus naek bas... sedey kan!!! semua balik tdo je lepas tue..

esknya pagi, AHAD 17 Mei... kiteorg pon bergerak balik kl semula... walaupun keletihan ini merupakan memori yg terindah(terjiwang plak...).... hahahahah....

*xsbar nk tggu keputusan festival kuar!!! harap2 terpilih... AMIN....
